I still remember how hesitant my wife and I were when our daughter Jessie expressed her interest in learning playing piano one year ago. There is not any music related background in our family. We do not want the piano to merely become the most expensive and useless furniture in the house. We do not wish Jessie to be trapped in practicing a kind of finger skill instead of understanding and enjoying the true meaning of music as well. After talking with Yiling all about our concerns, we decided to let her teach Jessie because we totally agree with her philosophy about music and her teaching method. Since her first piano lesson last September, we are watching Jessie making progress every week and no doubt that we have made a correct decision. It is such a wonderful experience for her and playing piano has become one of her favorite activities everyday. We can see how happy Jessie is when she receives the certificate and stickers during each lesson and how confident she shows when she got the CDs recorded her piano playing by Yiling after finishing the desired course. I highly recommend Yiling to the parents who wish their children not only to be able to learn the correct skill of playing piano, but also to understand and enjoy the happiness of music.

It plays, relaxing and soothing, and very easy to listen to. As her introduction states, "All I know is that the inspiration comes from deep within my heart and the music is played with my spirit and my soul". One slight criticism, is that in choosing the title of the album, "A Woman's Journey", it inadvertently isolates the male listener/purchaser, though I know that is not the intention, as it has a universal appeal throughout, by way of the various selections of the songs on the album, that all men can also appreciate. And, I am happy to say, the background sound, that occasionally starts a song, sounds real, rather than faked. The rain truly sounds like rain, as with the thunder. Finally, in my enjoyment of listening to this album by Yiling Huang, I intend to purchase one.

I could not stop my tears when I first listened to your music and read your notes of each pieces by myself.I could understand what a great effort you made and what an amazing job you did on this CD.My daughter always wanted to listen to children's songs on car until she heard your piano music one day. Dear Yiling, What beautiful music you have written and played for your first CD. My kindergartners and I have listened to it every day this past week during our rest time.
